Exhibitor Description
The OSU HPC (NBCL) team led by Prof. D. K. Panda carry out state-of-the-art and research in HPC, BigData and Deep Learning. The MVAPICH project, lead by the NBCL team, delivers the best performance and scalability for HPC systems. MVAPICH powers several HPC systems in the TOP500 list including 1st ranked 10,649,600-core Sunway TaihuLight. The team leads R&D efforts for the High-Performance Big Data (HiBD) project that aims to accelerate the performance of BigData middleware (Hadoop, Spark, Memcached, HBase). The NBCL team conducts R&D in deep learning through the High-Performance Deep Learning (HiDL) project that aims to exploit HPC technologies to scale out and accelerate DL frameworks.
